MIRAI CODE · You Have a Timing That Is Yours

To You Who Feels Left Behind While Everyone Moves Ahead

Some flowers open in spring. Some open in autumn. Some spend the winter sending roots down in the dark.

Mirai — a Future Decoder who reads the sounds of your name

Every time you see someone your own age doing well, you feel as though you alone have been left behind.

"I have to hurry. I have to do something." — and in the hurrying, nothing quite moves. Does that sound familiar?

In my readings, I meet many people who compare themselves to others, and who are worn thin by the comparing.

My life has been one long series of detours.

Watching everyone else go straight ahead, out of the corner of my eye, I thought: "I’m laps behind. Only me." I was in a hurry for years.

I was never especially clever. I have no particular gift. So this is what I told myself, and lived by: "If I have no talent, I’ll simply do two, three times what anyone else does."

Clumsily. Slowly. Where others took one step, I took three, or four, and went on.

But now I understand.

Those detours. Those doubled and tripled hours. Every one of them became a drawer I can open today.

You do not have to rush. Even a road full of wandering gets you there.

Hurry makes the present careless

When we are rushing, the heart is full of not enough and faster, faster — and the one thing that actually belongs to us, this present moment, is handled roughly.

The irony is plain: the more we hurry to reach the future, the more thinly we live the only hour we were ever given.

Flowers have their seasons. So do people.

Some flowers bloom in spring, some in autumn. Some spend the whole winter, unseen, pushing roots deeper into the cold ground.

People are no different. There is nothing noble about blooming early. Your flower has its own season. That is all it is.

And the winter of sending roots down is not a delay. It is what makes a flower that doesn’t topple in the first wind.

What the sounds of your name have to say about this

The sounds of a name carry a rhythm — some people are built to move first and think after; others need to gather, and settle, and only then step out.

When someone who has always called themselves slow hears that their pace is not a fault but a design, the pressure lifts. They were never behind. They were on their own clock, all along.

In the end

Whose calendar have you been measuring yourself against?

Nothing you have walked so far is wasted. It is being stored, quietly, as the thing only you will be able to give someone later.
